Promise
From my lips to your ears,
The whisper of a promise for you to hear,
I shall strip away all that you were,
The pain, the tears, the joy and learning.

I shall mould you anew, teach you,
Guide you thru all things!
But most of all,
I shall give to you my love.

A love that knows no bounds,
No right or wrong!
As you learn, know that each step forward or back,
My love is never ending.

As each limit is tested and pushed,
Know my love shall always be there.
