no other stuff
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
This site is all about the cb radio. I talk on and on about it but i got other stuff to tell you about. If you were to die today, are you sure you would go to heaven? If you could know for sure how to get to heaven, would you do what the Bible says? Here's how you can know you will go to Heaven when you die. 1. Admit that you are a sinner. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." (Romans 3:10) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) Many people hope they will make it to heaven because they haven't been "too bad" and perhaps have done a lot of "good" things. The idea is that if their good outweighs the bad, they will be accepted into heaven. Quite often people compare themselves with those who have committed terrible acts of wrong against others and think they should be allowed into heaven because they're not nearly as bad as those truly evil people. But the Word of God says, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." God judges us with his own perfect righteousness, and therefore "there is none righteous, no, not one." 2. Realize the penalty of sin. "For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) "Sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." (James 1:15) Death means "separation from God," in hell, forever. How terrible, but true. Yet, God is "not willing that any should perish." 3. Accept God's provision for your sin. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) "For he hath made him, who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." (II Corinthians 5:21) Jesus Christ took your sins upon Himself and therefore paid the penalty for your sins by dying on the cross. He was buried and was raised on the third day, just as the scriptures had said he would, victorious over sin and death. 4. Personally receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. "But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12) No matter where you are, or the condition of your life, you need Jesus Christ to be your Savior and Lord. You cannot effectively deal with your sins any other way. Now is the time to come to Him. Pray to Him right now saying something like this—Lord Jesus, I need You. I admit that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. Please forgive me and come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen. If you sincerely prayed that prayer, you are now a child of God! Please let us know by e-mailing Pacific Garden Mission at pgm@pgm.org Jokes I don't like many jokes but I found this on the internet and since I live in the state of South Dakota, got to post it in here. I'm proud of living here, at least population isn't a problem. YOU KNOW YOU'RE FROM SOUTH DAKOTA WHEN... During a storm you check the cattle before you check the kids. You are related to more than half the town. You can tell the difference between a horse and a cow from a distance. Your car breaks down outside of town and news of it reaches back to town before you do. You don't put too much effort into hairstyles due to wind and weather. Your quarterback is hurt and you're hoping it's the first thing on the 6 o'clock news. There's a tornado warning and the whole town is outside watching for it. The local gas station sells live bait. You don't buy all your vegetables at the grocery store. You go to the State Fair for your family vacation. You get up at 5:30 a.m. and go down to the coffee shop. You're on a first name basis with the county sheriff. When little smokies are something you serve on special occasions. You go to the river because it's almost like going to the ocean. You have the number of the Co-op on speed dial. All your radio preset buttons are country. Using the elevator involved a corn truck. Your mayor is also your garbage hauler, barber, and insurance salesman. You know you should listen to the weather forecast before picking out an outfit. You are walking knee-deep in snow. You call the wrong number and talk to the person for an hour anyway. Your excuse for getting out of school is that the cows got out. You talk with a friend about some big event you are going to attend, and by the end of the conversation you've decided you're both too broke to go. You know cow pies aren't made of beef. Your early morning prayer covers rain, cattle and pigs. You wake up when it's dark and go to bed when it's still light. You consider a romantic evening driving through Hardees and renting a hunting instructional video. You want to buy manure. You listen to "Paul Harvey" every day at noon. You can tell it's a farmer working late in his field and not a UFO. Your nearest neighbor is in the next area code. You leave your snow tires on year-round. You know the difference between field corn and sweet corn when they are still on the stalk. You know the code names for everyone on the CB. You pick up all the free stuff at the State Fair. You'll skip your cousin's funeral for the first day of deer season. You can eat an ear of corn with no utensils in under 20 seconds. You don't clean up the dog's mess because it's just fertilizer. You wear your irrigation boots to church. You know enough to get your driving done early on Sundays before the Sunday drivers come out. It takes 30 seconds to reach your destination and it's clear across town. You can tell the smell of a skunk and the smell of a feed lot apart. The meaning of true love is that you'll ride in the tractor with him. You consider a building a mall if it's bigger than the local Wal-Mart Including what I'm also interesting in.

Lake Swimming

Wall Lake- For all the people that go to this lake its ok. People think they are so cool when they got a boat, i think they act like retards to me.

Lake Pelican- I live right next to this like up in Watertown, SD and have to say it stinks overall. If your close to it like myself, ill go to it, But it ain't worth the drive.

Lake Kempeska

They are the most house i have ever seen on a lake here. It totally sucks to have no boat or state sticker. But if you look around you'll find some good spots to swim for free. Thank god.

Missouri River

Near Yankton, SD this spot was pretty decent with nice cold water, this is a place anyone will like, the drive from Sioux Falls ain't really worth it.

Big Stone Lake

Big Stone Lake is near the border of Minnesota and South Dakota up real north by Milbank or Sisseton, SD. Capital of sea weed his here. It gets the some real cold water after boats come past you swimming. Overall it pretty good.

Lake Superior

Coldest water i've gone into other than mountain water up in the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. I plunge in and was super cold. Reading a brochure told me 4000 people have died of Superior. Watchout if you dislike cold water.

Lake Meander

Near Ely, MN it is nearly my favorite. You can camp, swim, hike and the stars at night are so beautiful they will keep you up all night. I love this lake with a passion.

Waubay Lake

Great for fishing it can be a swimming spot if you look close enough. It hard as hell though. It really nice with a nice view.

Lake Madison

Nice if you got a house by the lake or boat. Sucks very much because there is only one beach from there. Thankfully i got to go in a friends boat and look around.

Fort Thompson

By the Big Ben Dam, it's great area for family and friends to talk and go swimming alot. Amazing fun is here were you can talk to indians if you want that live around there and you can jump off alot of spots.

Lake Alvin

Maybe one swimming spot that sucks entirely. Never go here for fishing or swimming. You got a better chance swimming in the Falls in Sioux Falls, SD.

Lake Poinsett

Cold water thats really blue and amazing to see. But watchout for seaweed area the has bugs on it. Scared me big time seeing the bugs on me.

Lake Albert

Smells like dead fish and has dead fish on shore. Go on dock and swim. Really good for fishing but swimming you better keep your shoes on because of rocks.
