| Finding the First and Second Numbers of the Combination If you are practicing and have the combination, don't frustrate yourself. Verify that you have the correct last number before going on to the next page. If you are satisfied with your last number, or ready to take a try even if you are not satisfied, find your last number in one of the following four groups, then click on it. If you aren't sure whether you have the correct last number, be sure to read the section "Use sticking places to test whether you have the correct first and second numbers." Also, if you have a lock where you know the combination, have it handy. You can use it to get a feel for the "sticking places" test. Try the sticking places test on the next page after dialing the correct first and second number. Then try the test after dialing incorrect numbers. This will give you a feel for the difference you are looking for.
