Vegeta and Goku fans...why can't they get along? | ||||||
I must admit, if there's one thing I've NEVER understood, it's why those kinds of Goku and Vegeta fans hate each other, as well as those characters. On the one hand you have Vegeta fans who complain about how Goku gets everything and Vegeta gets nothing. And how is this Goku fans fault? Am I missing something? Did they write the series, are they some how responsible for this? Please, by all means, would someone explain this to me? And then Vegeta fans hate Goku for this, like he caused it to happen? He's a freaking fictional cartoon character! I don't remember him asking for 3 Anime series, a manga series, 13 movies, videogames, ect to be made off of him. So why do they hate Goku for this? And on the other hand we have Goku fans that for some reason hate Vegeta fans for the way Vegeta acts towards Goku and others (plus Goku fans hating and flaming Vegeta fans for bashing/hating on Goku or vise-versa). Did they somehow make Vegeta act that way? So what if they prefer Vegeta, who gives a rip? Some people will have their personal preference, and other people will have theirs. Live with it. And then Goku fans will hate Vegeta. I have never understood the concept of hating a fictional character. I can understand hating what that character represents (and some of them do), but no, these fans hate Vegeta personally. What the heck? I'm sure Vegeta had some control over how the story was written. :rolleyes If anything, there are only 2 or 3 places that Goku fans and Vegeta fans should be angry at, and one, is at AT for writing the story that way. I personally don't have any problem with the way AT wrote it, I love the way he made both characters, but if they must put the blame somewhere, why not at the source? The second place they should put the blame is Toei for messing with the characters personalities, which we have gone over enough (go to this editorial by SaiyaMel and read it if you don't believe me). And the third place for the blame is the dubbing companies that changed the dialogue that frequently makes a character look dumber then they really are. Well, that's my rant for the night folks.
