Prevention

 Do not have sex with too many partners! There would be a higher risk of getting genital or rectal warts, leading to the spread the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and finally the growth of cancer cells.

Use barrier methods of contraception but avoid using contraceptive pills for a long term period.

Heavy smokers should reduce smoking, better yet, they should STOP smoking.

Take a PAP Smear Test every two years.

 Maintain a good diet. Reduce the intake of food with high content of preservatives, additives and food colorings such as canned foods.

   Eat foods or take supplements which contain vitamins, carotenoids and antioxidants such as Vitamin A, B, C and E.

Avoid using talc powder on the genital area for it contains magnesium silicate and asbestos which are carcinogenic.

Eat fresh fruits and vegetables which have been washed thoroughly.

Maintain good genital hygiene.
