Brief on Graduate Research & Study (Master & Ph.D.)

My major research and study of the graduate levels include computer vision, digital image processing, pattern recognition, robotic vision, etc. The title of master dissertation is eAutomatic Human Models Recognition Employing Eigenspace Techniquef where we have developed an automatic model for human models representation and recognition in terms of their postures employing an eigenspace approach. We have particularly investigated human dress and style problems in posture representation and recognition using an eigenspace technique. An image pre-processing model has proposed for overcoming the mentioned problems. The results of the Master degree work have been published in some reputed proceedings.
In the Ph.D. work, we have analyzed human motion recognition employing the eigenspace model and a tentative experimental work has done. The Ph.D. works have proposed a tuned eigenspace technique for an automatic human motion representation and recognition overcoming human apperance-change problems caused by wearing clothes (loose clothing) and various body shapes. Therefore, the presented model has an ability to recognize human motion automatically, in a real time performance and in a dynamic environment.  In the Ph.D. study, we have also developed another new technique called as the mean eigenwindow method. The mean eigenwindow method is very powerful to recognize partially occluded and/or destroyed objects. Therefore, the core works of Ph.D. lie on human motions, postures, and gestures recognition using a tuned eigenspace method and occluded/destroyed object recognition employing a mean eigenwindow method.  The results of the Ph.D. work have been published in several reputed journals and proceedings, and some of submitted papers are still under reviewing.
Besides, I do have an extensive knowledge and experience on interdisciplinary subjects as I have obtained my undergraduate degree in the fields of mechanical engineering.

Contribution to the Vision Field

1. Developed the tuned eigenspace technique for human posture and motion recognition.
2. Developed the mean eigenwindow method for recognizing partially data-loss objects.
