Doomed to Remember
Violent Days
Violent Sky's in flaming blue
colors of the fields changing hue
watching eyes that can't forget
all the strangers that i've met
humble met without a dime
hoping that someone could find that time
to spare a few minutes of the day
to listen to what they have to say

now i understand
the meaning of a rose
and what I held in my hands
was out love i suppose

All the men in frameless walls
all the daughters in shameless halls
Through the trees and daffodils
catch the breeze and winter chills
morning reins in amber grains
Silent faces aged in pain
Hushed voices do not speak
broken words do they keep

Now i understand
he meaning of a rose
and what you held in your hands
was our love i suppose

paint your palet blue and grey
for eyes that watch a winters day
clouds in waters fading hue
Reflect in your eyes of china blue
Fallen snow in twilight nights
Fallen angels take off in flight
A silver thorn, a bloody rose
both lay crushed and broken
on the Virgin snow

Now i understand
the meaning of a rose
and what they held in their hands
was our love i suppose
