I talked to some Trojan’s who camped here last night

They asked me to join to come out and fight

they showed me around and said I’ve been here

so we all sat down and we shared some beer

they gave a harmonica and asked me to play

I played them a song that had nothing to say

the leader got up and said with dismay

I don’t think I care anymore

they gave me a boat and I went out to sea

and for forty odd day I had no one but me

I came to an island all covered in sand

I swam to the shore to meet a young man

we sat for a while under some trees

then he gave me a note that did reads

take heed of my words and then you’ll be freed

 but I don’t I care anymore

I hear from the south a horrendous sound

I look for my boat but it’s no where around

I walk for a while to set my mind free

not that it matters there’s nothing to see

I found the Trojans who followed me here

the look on their faces of unspeakable fear

as I see it the end is near

I don’t I care anymore
