After teaching English in Japan for two years, Alexa returned home to San Francisco and worked with autistic children. One day a client's
mother, whose first language was Mandarin, asked Alexa to help her
write a letter to Blue Shield, asking for more health insurance. It
was then that Alexa realized she belonged in the field of TESOL. She
looks forward to a future of working with people from all over the world.
