In order for Kaori to enter a great TESOL program, she had to embark on a journey from her conservative town in Japan to the extremely liberal city of San Francisco. She found the courage to begin her journey as an EFL teacher because she is passionate about offering a new perspective to the traditional English classes in Japan. She will accomplish this by applying the knowledge she acquired through this program. Kaori will miss her energetic roommate and wonderful friends, yet she is looking forward to new adventures upon her graduation.
