After five grueling yet rewarding years teaching high school Spanish,
Shelley decided to apply to the MATESOL program, realizing that her talents might be better suited to the ESL classroom. She is grateful
for having had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful
students, classmates, professors, and mentors at SFSU in the past two years. In the future, she hopes to continue teaching ESL to young
adults in the Bay Area.
