Born and raised in Germany, Simone came to the U.S. as a young adult and has been living here since then. She obtained a B.A. in Business & Humanities, a M.S. degree in International Business, and worked for seven years in business before she decided to return to SFSU for a M.A. in TESOL. Since last summer, Simone has been teaching pre-academic reading & writing at the ALI, and is enjoying every moment of experimenting with and applying the TESOL theories in her classroom.
