AP PROGRAM | |||||||||||||
Advanced Placement courses offer our students the opportunity to do college level work while still in high school. The courses are available to qualified, academically talented students in the 11th and 12th grades. According to their AP examination performance, students MAY receive college credit for each examination taken. Based upon the number of AP courses taken, it is possible for a student who is successful on the exams to enter college at or near the sophomore level. Parent, teacher, and administrator approval is requried BEFORE enrolling. Enrollment is limited. Once accepted into an AP course, students are expected to make a commitment to complete both semesters. Registration for AP exams takes place in February. |
