A simple streamlined design you can put together in a few hours
There is nothing quite like the clean, simple,
inviting lines of an, adirondack, "muskoka chair"
to add a touch of civility to your lawn, garden,
or favorite spot by the lake!
this one is made from standard white-spruce lumber
and finished with exterior latex paint
(cedar, finished with a transparent exterior sealer or, for low maintenance, left to weather naturally, is another Good choice)
unlike other Muskoka designs, this one is very easy to build,
as well as very comfortable.
although it could be assembled adequately with screws alone,
using weatherproof glue along with screws
will make the chair more rigid and durable
you can make money with this project
these finished chairs sell very well at flea markets,
farmer markets, and yard sales (whether painted or not)
you can also sell them as "kits" precut and ready to assemble
(just include hardware and instructions on how to assemble)
