John is in his fourth year working for Home Depot. He is currently opening a new store in Festus, MO, and is enjoying meeting new people.
John is preparing to become an Assistant Store Manager and finished his final session of training in July 2003 for that position. He hopes to become a Store Manager some day. Look for him when you go in to shop.

Sarah is now laughing and squealing and sitting up on her own. We think she's getting ready to walk, although I could say that for weeks and technically it would be true. :) Miss Sarah pulls up on everything, stoops to pick up any of the many items that she's tossed to the floor.
Sarah now has four teeth; the profuse drooling tells us that she's working on a fifth tooth.
Sarah claps her hands, is babbling all the time, laughs at everything, waves "bye-bye", has started saying Mama and Dada, and squeals at Sunny, chases Sunny, pets Sunny (do you notice a theme here?). Poor Sunny is beside herself with the attention she's receiving from Sarah. :)

Christy has just finished her Masters of Science in Education. She graduated from Southwest Baptist University in July of 2003.
She's started her third year at Oakville Middle School in September; it is her first year teaching 6th graders. School is going superbly; Christy is thoroughly enjoying working with 11 and 12 year-olds.

First Birthday Update
Yes, everyone, we're coming upon that exciting 1st birthday! Can you believe it's been that long? Look for invitations to arrive announcing the date and location of the party. Friends and their children will be invited to a separate party than family as we've not yet moved and our small condo can't accomodate all those who love Miss Sarah! |
