Denis booked the Bentley Brook Inn (which is about 10 miles from Matlock on the A515 Ashbourne to Buxton road) for the lunch time session. They have a large bar, a travellers' room, and a restaurant and mayhave a marquee available at that time. This means that they can accommodate the numbers who have already indicated a desire to attend, but anyone would be welcome to join them. The Inn serves a full range of bar meals of a good quality and reasonably priced. Food is available throughout the day from mid-day. (The restaurant was the Derbyshire restaurant of the year in 2002.) They also have their own brewery. The idea was that people spent this lunch-time session meeting up with old friends and swapping tales of what has been happening to us over the last 40 years.
