Educational
Reform
Reform in education dies
When people fail to analyze,
To think things through, or look at facts,
But merely making broad attacks
At problems they don't understand,
Require solutions on demand.
Then politicians on the run
Make haste to see that "something's done."
They lengthen hours spent in class,
Debate what grades it takes to pass.
The situation still remains
That students need to use their brains.
Too objective are our schools,
Where education's made by rules.
I wish that thought would be in style,
Then going to school might be worthwhile.
