5:00 pm (Kaoru likes to stall when telling Toshiya something important that might upset him.)

"He wants you to what?!" Toshiya asked. His voice had dropped a couple of octaves to show that he was very upset. He was also facing away from Kaoru to stare out a window with his arms crossed.

"It's nothing serious, Totchi, I promise!!!" Kaoru walked over to Toshiya and wrapped his arms around him. Kaoru placed his head on Toshiya's shoulder but Toshiya didn't even acknowledge his existence. "You know I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. I won't even touch him!"

"So you say," Toshiya said in that same tone. "But that's not going to prevent him from touching you. We all know Kamijo's flirtatious! Him and his bonjour honeys have brought many a relationship down..."

Kaoru smiled, "You make him sound like the Break-up Fairy--"

"I state only the truth!" Toshiya sniffed. "And--and since when did he like you!? I thought he liked me!"

Kaoru laughed, "Is that what this is all about? Are you jealous that he wants me and not you?"

"I'm not jealous about that! I can hardly blame him." Toshiya snapped. This time he crossed his arms over Kaoru's and placed his head on Kaoru's head.

"Are you going to be okay? You're not too upset that I'm going?"

"Considering that it's probably your life or death that you go and that you were sort of blackmailed into it, I'm not TOO upset about it. But I am upset." Toshiya replied. "But if he touches you and starts coming around the apartment after this, he's a dead man!!" He said, his voice suddenly vicious.

Kaoru laughed and kissed Toshiya on the cheek. "I love you," he told him.

"Mmhm. I love you, too. I mean it, though!" Toshiya said, his viciousness returning, "He does anything to you and I'll--I'll--I'll scratch his big brown eyes out!!"

"Totchi! You're going to be an angel, you're not supposed to do those kind of things!" Kaoru scolded.

"Forget being an angel! Me and Kyo are going to hell!" Toshiya said, his smile returning. Kaoru looked at him curiously, "Oh, Manami always tells Kyo that he's going to hell for some of the things he does." He looked up at the clock, "You'd better get ready before Kamijo comes up those steps and finds out you're still in the shower. I doubt Mayu would like that."

Kaoru groaned, gave a smile to his koi and went off to shower. He still didn't understand why Mayu would be so mad. It's not as if Kaoru was going to ruin something that Mayu did himself. Machi and Emiru helped and they weren't as mad as Mayu looked. "As if I was the worst person in the world!!" Kaoru snorted and threw his shirt into the hamper. "I don't cause trouble on a regular basis! That's Kyo and Die."

Kaoru stood in front of the closet with a towel wrapped around his hips. Toshiya sat on the bed, with his legs crossed, watching him. "I don't have anything to wear, Totchi." He said turning around. Toshiya only smiled and Kaoru shivered. "Not now! I have a party to get to." Toshiya stuck out his tongue and then ignored him. Kaoru shook his head and went back to finding something to wear. He picked out some leather pants and tossed it on the bed. Toshiya looked at it with mock disgust and lay on the bed, his back to Kaoru.

"I don't think Kamijo wants you to wear something casual like those pants..." He said after a long while.

"And what would you have me wear?"

"Wear the Gauze costume."

"Nani?"

"You heard me."

"I don't think he'd appreciate the feathers..."

"Then don't wear it. And he wanted you beautiful, right?" Toshiya asked.

"No, Mayu did."

"Just wear the Gauze costume."

6:00 pm

"Sugoi!" hide said, making Kaoru jump. Kaoru felt himself blush and turned around. "Oh, Kamijo would just die."

"Do you think he should wear the feathers?" Toshiya asked, fussing over Kaoru's hair although he had finished it minutes ago. Kaoru brushed Toshiya's hands away gently and Toshiya sat next to hide on the bed.

"Feathers? It comes with feathers?!" hide's eyes shined. "Sugoi!! I have to see!!" Kaoru blushed again, not used to this kind of attention from his angel/idol. Kaoru put on the feathers and hide's smiled widened.

"Wow!! Demo--I don't think you'd fit into the limo with that on. You might hit a few people with it." Toshiya nodded in agreement and Kaoru took it off.

Kaoru sat on the bed between hide and Toshiya. He gave a sigh and both of them looked at him. "What has happened to my life that I have to go on a date with Kamijo?" he asked.

"Aw, I'm sure he's not that bad," hide said and Toshiya and Kaoru looked at him funny. "Nani?"

They shook their heads, "Nan demo arimasen."

"hide-sama? Aren't you going, too? You should dress up..." Toshiya suggested.

hide's eyes widened with realization and stood up, closed his eyes and tried to look like he was from an anime (complete with cherry blossoms and everything) , "Ne, Toshiya-kun, you're right...I'm his angel, I must go where my human must..." Kaoru smiled up at him funny, "Okay--not everywhere my human must--he has some private things to attend to that does not need my attention--but I must go where he goes..when he needs me!!" hide disappeared in a puff of pink smoke and Toshiya and Kaoru jumped then stared at each other.

"Doko?"

"I have no idea...but he better be back before Kamijo comes knocking on the door."

6:30 pm

The doorbell rang and Toshiya answered it. He saw Sebastian standing there and called for Kaoru. They stood in front of the door going over last minute instructions. "Okay, remember behave yourself, don't pay attention to Kamijo and try not to make Mayu angry. And call before you come home."

Kaoru leaned forward and whispered in Toshiya's ear, "Did hide come back yet?"

"No..but.." Toshiya spied a faint wisp of pink smoke emerging from the bedroom and smiled. "Nevermind. He's back."

Kaoru turned around just as hide came walking in flourescent green suit, his pink hair styled away from his face. He polished his sunglasses and put it on. "How do I look?"

"Like hide," the two men answered.

hide smiled, "That's the idea."

"Alright, both of you behave yourselves and you--" Toshiya pointed at hide, "Keep away from the alcohol--"

"Demo Toshiya-kun--"

"I mean it!" Toshiya told him. hide pouted. "Alright, fine, you may drink but if you drink too much that you can't tell Kaoru from a pillar, I'll find you and--and--do something terrible! Take care of him and I want you two to call before you come home!"

"Hai, hai!" The two answered and was about to go out the door but Sebastian stopped them.

"Just Kaoru-sama. Not the cosplayer." He told them

hide's jaw dropped, "Demo--"

"Iie. Just him."

"hi--"

hide interrupted him before he could say his name, "Daijyobu ne, Kaoru-chan..." he said as he backed up into the apartment. Toshiya stared at him worriedly. hide's hands flexed as if he would like to rip Kamijo's big brown eyes out followed by wrapping his hands around Sebastian's neck.

"It'll take a lot more than that to keep me out. I'll be there, don't worry." He said in a low voice with a small smile of vengefulness. Kaoru nodded and hesitated slightly before following Sebastian down to the limousine. They said nothing to each other until Sebastian opened the door to it. Kamijo bounced out with his trademark blue hat (you know the one with the blue roses on the top), grabbed Kaoru's hand and kissed it and said, "Bonjour, honey!! You look very lovely tonight!" He grinned flirtatiously up at Kaoru. "Ne, Kaoru, you sure you want to come back home, tonight? I don't think Toshiya will miss you for just one night..."

Kaoru shook his head. Kamijo pouted.

Kaoru ignored him and went into the limousine. Kamijo followed, Sebastian closed the door and in a few moments they were off.

--at the same time--

hide closed the door and leaned against it and looked at Toshiya. "Ne, Toshiya-kun, do you want to go to a party?" he asked with a mischievous smile. Toshiya looked up, puzzled and then smiled as well.

"Why, yes, I think I would!" Toshiya replied and went to the bedroom to change.

Kaoru winced. Great. Photographers. "You sure do go all out for your parties."

"Not really, this is actually just a small get together," Kamijo said, airily. Kaoru raised an eyebrow. If this was his idea of small, I'd hate to see what big is like, he thought to himself and stared above the people and up at the sky. Totchi, hide...I wish you were here. It'd be much easier to deal with...

The limousine stopped and the door opened. Kaoru got out first and offered a hand to Kamijo, who graciously took it. Oh, we must make quite a pair, Kaoru thought, The gothic one from Dir en Grey with the flirtatious Kamijo. It could be worse. It could be me with Emiru! Kaoru shook his head at that thought, Everyone would either have a heart attack or go, "Kawaii!!!"

They walked down the red carpet and into the building, flashbulbs flickering madly around them. They walked down the marble steps into the ballroom and everyone cheered. Kaoru managed to get away from Kamijo when many other J-rockers came up to wish him happy birthday or just to talk.

"Hey, stranger!" came a familiar voice just as Kaoru ran into someone. He looked up and smiled, relieved.

Die and Shinya stood there, smiling at him. Shinya wore his Gauze costume as well while Die opted for a fancy suit and tie. He played with his top hat as Kaoru blurted out, "Thank God, someone I can talk to!! What are you doing here?!"

"Emiru invited us," Die replied, tossing the hat in the air and lightly catching it. He rolled it off his left arm, caught in and tossed the hat in the air again. Shinya grabbed it before he caught in and held it away from him. Die sighed and folded his arms. "So, I see that rumor of Kamijo dragging you along on a date was true."

"Only because I have to. It's either that or get killed." Kaoru replied.

"You told Toshiya about this, right?"

"Hai. He knows. He doesn't like it but," he shrugged, "What can you do? Is there anyone else here?" Kaoru took a glass of champagne off a tray as it came near him.

"Kyo and our guardian angel." Shinya replied, snatching a glass of champagne off of a tray. He stared at it as if searching for something then took a sip.

"Speaking of angels, where's hide?" Die asked, staring at his top hat that Shinya held. He was waiting for the exact moment to snatch it back. Kaoru rolled his eyes, "Sebastian said that--"

"--the cosplayer wasn't allowed to come," hide interrupted, dragging Toshiya along with him. "Fuck what he thinks. If he only knew, he'd be bowing and scraping his lips on the ground trying to kiss my feet."

He still wore his green outfit and Toshiya wore a dark blue satin evening gown that looked like it had been sprayed onto his body. He turned to stare around at the room and Kaoru saw that Toshiya's dress showed off his entire back and the only "covering" it had were the tiny blue spaghetti straps that were tied into little bows. Kaoru tried not to reach over and undo one of the straps. Damn, he thought as Toshiya sighed and turned, interrupting Kaoru's thoughts and smiled at him. "We got here through the bathroom. Him and his pink smoke. We were lucky no one was in there at the time."

"It would've been funny. How do you explain two people coming out of a bathroom stall?" hide asked, with an ecchi grin on his face. "You--"

"Enough! I don't want to hear the end of that one!" Toshiya replied, with an embarrassed grin. "It's strange traveling with him! Tells you all kinds of strange jokes."

"I want to hear the end of that one--what is it?" Die asked.

"What's what?" asked another familiar voice. Kyo came up to them wearing a black leather jacket, a white shirt with the bottom buttons undone and a shredded black tie with black leather pants. Manami was with him with her ever present blue sunglasses and a black velvet over coat with feathers at the cuffs. She wore the vinyl pants as usual.

"How'd you get in?! I didn't think there was anyone that would invite you!" Die said. Kyo scowled at him.

"Who needs an invitation?" Manami said. "Anyways, I have to look after the two of you and I knew Toshiya was going to come so I decided to bring Kyo along as well. Easier to keep an eye on all of you."

"Me, too, Manami-sama?" hide asked innocently.

"Not unless you want to do something stupid."

"Dare? Boku?" hide said, innocent smile still on his face, "Nonsense!"

"There you are Kaoru-chan!!" came a voice and Kaoru winced. Kamijo slipped an arm around Kaoru's and smiled at the members of Dir en Grey and their angels. "I see that the rest of your friends came, too!!" Die stepped back, his body in front of Shinya's protectively. Kyo did the same with Manami and hide did the same for Toshiya. But it wasn't to stop Kamijo from getting Toshiya. It was to stop Toshiya from getting Kamijo.

Kaoru laughed, trying to ease some of the tension. "Ah, Kamijo, you know the band, right? This is Die, our guitarist and Shinya, our drummer."

Kamijo smiled at them and Die smiled back. Or tried to. It looked more like he wanted to bite Kamijo (and not in the good kind of bite.) Shinya smiled but his was a little more nicer. "And this is Kyo, our vocalist and his--koibito, Manami." Kamijo reached out to take Manami's hand and kiss it but Kyo bared his teeth and tried to snap at him. "And this is Toshiya. Our bassist. My koibito." Kaoru said, stressing the last two words.

Toshiya smiled with triumph and Kamijo pouted.

"If it's not one, it's the other," he sighed.

"Nani?"

"Nan demo..." Kamijo said and smiled again. "Ne-Totchi--" Toshiya winced at the use of his nickname, "You don't mind if I borrow Kaoru here for the night, will you?"

"Take it easy, take it easy," hide and Manami said. hide turned around and patted Toshiya on the shoulder.

"Iie, Kamijo-san," Toshiya said, brightly. "I hope you have fun!"

"Ne, Kaoru-chan--"

"Kaoru-san...or Kaoru-kun. You're not allowed to call me Kaoru-chan." The guitarist replied, irritated.

"Kaoru-chan," Kamijo said, ignoring him, "You never introduced me to your cosplayer friend...what's his name?"

"hi-" hide began

"--karu!" Kaoru blurted out before hide could finish. hide scowled at him.

"Hikaru?" Kamijo asked. "You are a very good cosplayer, I must say."

"I should hope so!" hide said, a little angrily. He grabbed Kaoru by the ear and whispered, "What the hell kind of name is Hikaru?"

"What else was I supposed to tell him?!"

"My real name?!!"

"That'd be too obvious!!" Kaoru removed hide's hand from his ear. "Now, HIKARU," This time it was Toshiya holding hide back, "Stay with Toshiya. I'll be right back." Kamijo dragged Kaoru away to mingle with the rest of the guests.

They watched Kaoru being dragged away. "Do you want to be my date to spy on Kaoru, Toshiya-kun?"

"Hai, hide-sama." Toshiya slipped his arm in hide's as he stomped off to follow Kamijo and Kaoru at a respectable distance.

8:00 pm

"Time for the birthday boy to cut his cake!!" Emiru yelled out, jumping cutely around. He let go of his date's hand (which for all of you who are interested is Levin) and jumped up on the table. Levin's eyes widened and tried to keep other people from peeking up Emiru's skirt. Emiru ignored him and went on, "Bring out the cake!!"

From the opposite side of the room, a huge cake was brought out with unlit candles on it. Machi made sure that it came in without any complications and as soon as it was in front of the main table, he lit the candles and the lights were dimmed. Kamijo and Kaoru made their way to the cake just as everyone began to sing Happy Birthday. At the end of the song, Emiru yelled out, "Blow out the candles and make a wish, Kamijo-kun!!"

Kamijo smiled, closed his eyes and waited for a few seconds. He then blew out the candles and yanked at Kaoru's hand. Kaoru stumbled forward just as Kamijo kissed him on the lips. Kaoru jerked back after a few seconds and stepped away from Kamijo. Toshiya strained against hide, Die and Shinya. "Let me go! Let me go!! I'll kill him!!" Toshiya snapped.

"Calm down!!" Kaoru looked at his friends and they smiled back. All except Toshiya, whose eyes were filled with angry tears. Kaoru smiled back, hoping that all of his thoughts could be conveyed with it. He looked away as Toshiya looked away and caught Mayu, furious, glaring at him. Emiru jumped off the table just as Machi handed Kamijo a knife and some plates. For everyone else the party went on but for five other people--

"What are you doing?!" Emiru hissed at Kamijo who was cutting the cake as if nothing happened. "I thought you knew that Toshiya and Kaoru--"

"Machi, I think I need more plates--"

"What are you doing?!" Kaoru demanded, joining Emiru at yelling at Kamijo. "Are you trying to ruin someone's relationship?!"

Machi handed the plates to Kamijo and gave the cakes with plates to some servers who went around to distribute cake. Mayu stalked over and joined the circle around Kamijo but said nothing. Only glared.

"Kamijo, why won't you answer me?" Emiru asked, frustrated.

Kamijo slammed an empty plate down. "Urusai!! Leave me alone! It's my birthday!! Why can't you be happy for me? Stop being so selfish!"

"Selfish?!!" Mayu exploded and Kamijo jumped, startled. They all looked at Mayu as the party continued around them. Tears flowed over his beautiful cheeks, black streaks over his flawless skin. He didn't even wipe them away. "How dare you use that word, Kamijo?! Selfish?! We made this party for you--I made this party for you!! I got you the cake you wanted, decorated the place in your favorite colors, used your favorite flowers, let you take Kaoru out and you have the nerve to call us selfish?!" His hands gripped his skirt tightly and his eyes were shut tight. "God, if you only knew what we all went through! Machi's year anniversary with his girlfriend was tonight. Emiru struggled to get this place for a year! I'm sure Kaoru didn't want to be here, either, I've seen those looks between him and Toshiya! And I--" he sobbed, "I was the idiot who wanted to see you happy!!" he turned and fled, away from them and out the door.

Machi stared after Mayu and sighed, "Good job, Kamijo! Great fucking job!" He ran after the other man as the servers continued to hand out cake.

Emiru snorted and walked away from the vocalist, dragging Levin with him.

Kamijo stood there, still for a moment and then began to cut the cake again. "Kaoru-kun?"

"Hai?" Kaoru said, as politely as he could.

Kamijo looked up at him, his eyes a deep well of loss, "What have I done? Do you think I'm bad?"

Kaoru didn't know what to say but even if he did, it probably wouldn't have helped. "Kamijo--"

"Nevermind, Kaoru-kun...nevermind. You can go now. Go back to Toshiya and apologize to him for me." Kamijo went back to cutting the cake and Kaoru didn't know what to say. He took a step forward and Kamijo turned and pushed him away, "What the hell are you doing? Go, you asshole, go! Get out of here!!"

Kaoru turned and ran off to find Toshiya.

11:00 pm

Toshiya sat on the park bench with hide. They said nothing. Toshiya stared down at his hands. "You know Kaoru didn't want it, right?" hide said, after lighting a cigarette. He gave it to Toshiya who took it after hide said, "You look like you need it."

"That's not what I need right now," Toshiya said, but still took a long drag out of it and held it in, letting the smoke fill his lungs and blew out blue smoke to dance in the night air. "What I need right now is Kaoru."

hide nodded with understanding. "To kiss him or kill him?"

"Neither. I just need him. I need something else too."

"Nani sore?"

"I have this need to wrap my hands around Kamijo's neck. Have him beg, 'Please, please, Toshiya, don't hurt me anymore!'" Toshiya replied, calmly, blowing another stream of smoke into the air. He paused and stared at hide. "You haven't drank an ounce of alcohol all night."

hide nodded, a little pissed at himself for that, "Hai, hai, I know! I was too stressed. I was too worried over Kaoru. Plus Yoshiki was in the crowd. I had to avoid him."

"So, that's why you kept dragging me off into different parts of the room for stupid reasons." Toshiya said. "Hey...you have telepathy, right?"

"Hai."

"So--"

hide sighed. Getting involved with a human meant getting involved with all the baggage that came with him. Including his human's human. "He loves you. To death. I'm not supposed to tell you this. You're Manami's human after all--" he froze and seemed to look off into the distance and then came back to himself, "And she just yelled at me for that, but she wants to tell you that...Kaoru does love you and he's looking for you..and that you should hear him out. Don't hurt him. Because Kaoru needs you more than ever during these days."

"Do you know where he is now?"

hide didn't answer and only disappeared in a puff of pink smoke. Toshiya swore and tilted his head back to take another drag from the cigarette. Hands brushing his back startled him and Toshiya stood up hurriedly, in a whirl of blue satin. Kaoru stood there and stared at him with sad eyes.

"You're not mad at me are you?"

Toshiya stared at him, blew out some smoke and rested a hand on his hip. "No...not really. It wasn't your fault." He avoided looking at his eyes. "Anyways, what happened? As I was leaving, I almost got run over in the hall by Mayu."

Kaoru told him and Toshiya frowned.

"Curiouser and curiouser..." Kaoru stepped forward and wrapped an arm around Toshiya's waist. Kaoru took away Toshiya's cigarette and took a drag from it, then gave it back. "I guess we should go home then," Toshiya said.

"Hai."

"Come on."

"Totchi?"

"Nani?"

"That dress looks really tight. It makes me wonder, how does one get into a dress like that?"

Toshiya walked on with Kaoru and blew out some smoke, "Well, you can start by buying me a drink and telling me how cute I am..."

Friday July 21, 6:00 am

The phone rang.

Go away.

It rang again.

You have the wrong phone number.

Again.

We're asleep.

Again.

I said, go away!

Again.

"Aargh..." Kaoru cracked open an eye and stared at the offender. Noisy plastic bastard, he thought and reached out a hand to deal with it. He couldn't reach. He groaned again as it rang (again) and he dragged himself a little closer. Toshiya moaned and tightened his hold on Kaoru's body as he did so. Kaoru grabbed the reciever and brought it to his head, "What?"

"Kaoru-kun?"

"Mn?" Kaoru asked. He closed both eyes now.

"It's me." His eyes flew open again.

"Kamijo-san?"

"Yeah, hi," Kamijo's voice sounded troubled. Sounded worried, tired--and just generally upset. "I need your help, Kaoru...if you weren't kidding about being friends and stuff--I really need your help now."

Kaoru looked at the clock, "It's 6 in the morning..."

"I know...but this is really important."

"Nani?"

"Mayu. He's been missing since Wednesday...we can't get a hold of him. We thought he'd come back by tomorrow and then we thought he'd come back by dinner, and then he'd come back by 9 and then by midnight-"

"Yeah, I get the picture. Where are you?"

"I'm at home. Where else? Can you come over and help me find him?"

"Hai."

"Please tell Toshiya I'm sorry," Kamijo said and hung up.

Kaoru hung up the phone and turned to see Toshiya awake, blinking sleepily but seriously at him. "Dare?"

"Kamijo. He needs help finding Mayu. He said to tell he's sorry."

Toshiya nodded and let go of Kaoru. Kaoru got up, got ready, gave a quick kiss to Toshiya and ran out of the bedroom and left. Toshiya closed his eyes for a second in sleepiness and woke up again a little while after the door shut. "hide-sama?" he called out.

"Hai?"

"Look after him."

"Wakatta."

Toshiya fell asleep again, content.

7:00 am

"You two must be good friends," Kamijo said a little tiredly. Kaoru and hide smiled at each other and nodded.

"Something like that." hide said.

"Any ideas where he is?"

Kamijo stood, frustrated, "If I had any ideas, I would have found him by now!!" He sighed and shook his head, "Gomen...I'm just a little tired..."

Kaoru nodded, "C'mon, let's go. You can't find him by just sitting around here." Kamijo sighed again and followed hide and Kaoru out to the car.

********

8:00 am

Kamijo sat (or rather slumped) in the back of the car, his knees higher than his face at this moment. He chewed miserably on an Egg Mcmuffin. Kaoru glanced at him the mirror again. The blue hat hid his eyes, while his knees hid his mouth and the bottom of his nose. His cheeks were awfully red and--tears?

Kaoru stopped the car, "Daijyobu ne, Kamijo-san?"

"Iie..." Kamijo muttered and took another bite out of his breakfast. He sniffed while he ate. "What if I don't find him, Kaoru? What will I tell Emiru and Machi? What will I tell Mayu's family?"

hide and Kaoru looked at each other with sympathy for Kamijo and Kaoru turned. "Nevermind about that. What are you going to tell Mayu when you find him?"

"Nani?" Kamijo sat up, still clutching his sandwich, "You really think we can find him?"

"Of course," Kaoru said, lying through his teeth. "So, what will you tell him?"

Kamijo took another bite out of his sandwich, chewed thoughtfully and swallowed. "I'd like to apologize to him. And I'd like to thank him for making that party for me. And--other stuff...that is if he wants to talk to me."

hide spoke up, "I think he does. He looks like he really cares for you, doesn't he, Kaoru?"

"Mm," Kaoru nodded. Kamijo nodded, too, after awhile.

"Drive on." Kamijo said and they went.

********

4:00 pm (because this has gone on long enough, dammit!)

It had been a long day. Kaoru wondered if they hadn't driven all over Japan by now. They had gone everywhere that Mayu had enjoyed to be, gone everywhere that Kamijo and Mayu had enjoyed together and now they had finally ended up at piers, even though the weather was less than friendly.

"We went on a cruise here once." Kamijo said. Kaoru nodded.

They left the car and wandered around the piers, looking for boats that Mayu might have gone on and asked around. They looked around for Mayu when they got tired of asking. Finally, they stood on one of the piers overlooking the ocean. hide had gone into some restaurant to get some food (again) and left Kamijo and Kaoru alone. The wind whipped their hair around. Kamijo had left his hat in the car--he didn't want to lose it. A light rain fell on them but they ignored it. Kamijo let out a long sigh. "What have I done?"

"You've done nothing!" Kaoru said, irritated with Kamijo's have-pity-on-me mood.

Kamijo stood, he had been kneeling before and snapped back, "Yeah and that's why I'm here!"

"That's not what I meant!"

"Tell me what you mean!"

"This isn't your fault!"

"Hounto ni?! Then tell me whose fault it really is!?" Kamijo said, acidly, "I'm the one who asked you out to my birthday, I'm the one who called everyone else selfish, I'm the one who kissed you,I'm the one who made Mayu angry and I'm the one who made him run off!! If it isn't my fault, whose is it?! Whose is it?!"

"Oh, just shut up already!! We'll find him and then you can go complain to him about how much of a bastard you are and how much of it is your fault!"

"You know you're really bad at being a friend!"

"Who said I was your friend!"

"You did!"

"I said I wanted to be one!"

"That's the exact same thing!"

"No--"

"A friend," Kamijo hissed, "Is supposed to be loyal--"

Kaoru snapped, "Loyalty you've got!! Perjury isn't in the job description!!"

"To think that anyone could ever love you!! I don't know how Toshiya can stand you!!"

"Hey, you kissed me!" Kaoru pointed out.

"Ugh! And I regret every single damn second of it!!" Kamijo yelled.

"Hounto ni?!" Kaoru grabbed Kamijo's arm and brought him close as if to kiss him. Kamijo eyes widened and he punched Kaoru and Kaoru threw a punch back. He grabbed Kamijo's collar and threw him onto the ground. Kamijo stood and tackled Kaoru. He punched Kaoru on the jaw a few times, just before Kaoru shoved him off and stood. He began to walk away from Kamijo, just as he felt something rush into him and suddenly, he was pushed off the pier!!
