Katrini Lindir

  • a.k.a. Trindir, Trini
  • Age: 10
  • Marital Status: Single
  • Occupation: N/A
  • Former Occupations: Actress/ Puppeteer/ Singer/ Dancer
  • Residence: N/A
  • Laran gift and laran training: Not assessed yet
  • Politics: Indifferent
  • Personality: Apparently outgoing, Katrini is actually secretive, wary, and emotionally unpredictable. As she is going through the beginnings of puberty, she is moody, easily depressed, and touchy. She is also starting to go through Threshold sickness, so she is sometimes reacting to the emotions and thoughts of others.
  • Strengths: Katrini is an avid student, an accomplished mimic, and is able to both read and write, thanks to her long dead mother. She is loyal to those she trusts, and also has an unexpectedly soft heart for the weak and oppressed. She never lies, and listens more than she speaks.
  • Weaknesses: Katrini finds it hard to trust people, due to her recent experiences, and has a fierce temper which is not hard to raise. She also lacks tact.
  • Combat training: Katrini knows how to use a knife, and is good with a rock. Otherwise, she uses her nails and teeth.
  • Horseback riding: Good, but not perfect, since she has had more contact with draft animals than riding ones.
  • Appearance: Katrini is of moderate height for her age, but very slim, and is just beginning to develop feminine curves. Her hair is a rich red, with streaks of gold in the heavy waves. The eyes are grey-blue with gold flecks, large and lashed thickly with brown lashes. Katrini's back is marred by a scar that runs from neck to waist.
  • Romantic relationships: None yet
  • Friends: None yet
  • Pets: None yet
  • Hobbies: Reading, singing, dancing and stitching.
  • Other Information: Katrini was born to Mirella Lindir, a young woman of a cadet branch of that family. The woman never told anyone who the father was, and she was about to be forced into an unwanted marriage when she ran away with a group of travelling players. Thus Katrini was brought up on the road, and learned the craft as a matter of course. Mirella taught her daughter all she knew, but died in childbirth when Katrini was eight. On Katrini's tenth birthday, the leader's son began to notice she was growing up, much to his father's disgust. Katrini was told to leave. Within two days Katrini had been beaten, robbed and left for dead by a couple of bandits whom she met on the road.
