So far Sprite has ran several ads including their new character, and personally I despise all of them. Lets not even get into the racial aspects of Thirst, a VERY stereotypical character. Lets just focus on why these commercials suck.
First off, consider yourself lucky if you can grasp what the hell he is saying. His manner of speech is a garbled mess of jargon and incoherence. I can't believe someone actually is getting paid to create this poor excuse of advertising. What is supposed to be a funky, hip and cool character, is just an annoying and obnoxious piece of trash surrounded by terrible jokes.
I watch a lot of basketball, as you know, and thus have seen these commercials far too many times.
As Thirst says, "Hey girls throw it in reverse for thirst!" I can only think, "Hey Sprite, throw him the garbage for Matt!"
