We visited the Wildseed Farms on a shiny Saturday morning in October 2003.  Seven miles east of Fredericksburg on High 290E, the farm is covered with Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, and other warm weather bloomers in the springtime.  In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color.
The Black-Eyed Susan is probably the most common of all American wildflowers.
