These photos were taken during our second visit to the Wildseed Farms in the spring of 2002.  Roadsides along Highway 290 were covered with Texas Bluebonnets and other wild flowers.  We also visited the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area.  Tonkawa Indians believed ghost fires flickered at the top of the rock while hearing weird creaking and groaning.
The Black-Eyed Susan is probably the most common of all American wildflowers.
