Name: Pat Cravens DOB: 11-17-80 Hometown: Westcliffe, Colorado Pat is the most loyal friend I have. He is the kind of friend that can be trusted with anything. I've known him for close to five years now, and I've been fortunate enough to truly get to know him. He is, in many ways, just like me. Neither one of us cares what other people think about us, nor will we ever. The only obinions that count are the truly constructive ones that are given to us by our loved ones. Pat is a Computer Major at PCC, the same school I'm attending. He doesn't know where he wants to go in life, but he knows that he wants to succeed. Maybe he'll end up working on web pages, and other web-based technology. Whatever happens, he'll be making in the upwards of $100 an hour for doing something that he likes to do, and that's what matters. I first met Pat my freshman year of high school. We shared a biology class together. I will always remember how much I enveyed him for his ability to just stand out in a crowd. He would do things totally outlandish, and get away with it. I used to think he was strange, but then when I got to know him, I realized that he's not strange; he's unique... he's Pat. When I was a freshman, Pat and I used to wander around outside our school during our biology class to collect bugs to feed the class salamander. That's how Pat and I started hanging out. In truth, I think the salamander died only a few weeks into school, but we kept making runs for bugs anyway. That's one thing that will always be etched into my mind. ![]()
