Many don't realize that the Madman from the Sudan is really the Madman
from Windsor, Ontario. He started out in the various Canadian independents
and his gimmick was that he was from India and could not speak English.
This allowed this most violent wrestler to work alongside some of the greatest
managers in wrestling including Eddie "the Brain" Creatchman, J.J. Dillon,
Gary Hart, Bearcat Wright, Rock Hunter, and others. Abdullah's greater
successes did not occur on American soil. He waged a legendary war against
Carlos Colon in Peurto Rico and battled the legendary Sheik in the US.
Abdullah was hardcore before hardcore was cool and he wears deep scars
on his forehead to prove his psychotic ring style.
 
Some American fans may remember his stint in WCW in the early 1990s when
he and Cactus Jack first teamed together against WCW fan favourites such
as Sting and the Steiner Brothers and then turned on each other to engage
in several violent Street Fights. Abdullah was the victim of the first
ever WCW Thundercage when he was placed in an electric chair and zapped.
While Abdullah is 70 years of as of 2006, he still competes like always
and routinely uses forks other other objects to dig in tot he faces of
his enemies. He routinely tours in matches with Dusty Rhodes and other
hardcore legends of his day and without question, this man will be hard
to forget and therefore he belongs in the UWOW Hall of Fame.
