I was born on September 16th 1975 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Canada.  I was put up for adoption by my birth mother and gladly accepted by my Mom and Dad.

I started Elementary school at Saint John Fisher's and then switched to Saint Edmund's about a year and a half later because my family moved to a different school zone.  I made it into grade 2 and then, upon the recommendation of my teacher, was moved back into grade 1.  After being held back a grade I was moved from a regular class to a "Prep class" for students who need "extra help" and again this was done under the recommendation of "knowledgeable" teachers.  Although I'm not bitter or anything.  Annoyed... maybe.  But not bitter.

Luckily, this turned into a good thing because I got one of the best teachers I've ever had, Mrs. Gay.  She truly cared about each and every one of her students and went far beyond the call of duty on a daily basis.  She encouraged us to see that it was possible for all of us to succeed.  She also was one who encouraged me to write.  One thing she would always say to us was that, "time is precious, once it's gone. It's gone."

Time progressed as it does and I found myself in high school.  Saint Thomas High School.  O' the joyful memories  Well, they would be joyful if I were a sadist!  And that's all I'm going to say about that segment of my life.   Once again, not bitter.  Just annoyed.

After high school I enrolled into
John Abbott College in the Professional Theatre Department (Tech Option).  It wasn't a great experience yet it wasn't a bad one either.  I learned a lot of things in class and out of class.  Anyway, after one year in Professional Theatre I switched to Creative Arts and then graduated in 1998.  Which was good because during my final year there one of the teachers I had my first semester kept asking me, "You still here?" everytime he saw me.  Very annoying.  But I think he meant it in good humour.  I hope.

Presently, I have just finished my tour of duty at
Concordia University with my BA Double Major in Creative Writing and Political Science.  I did it!  And to think my high school "Guidance Counselor" said I would be lucky to be accepted to university let alone complete it.  Well, looks like I've proved her wrong!  Of course anyone who would take the advice of a high school guidance counselor too seriously should reconsider it.  If this person knew everything they would be more than a guidance counselor.

I'm also living  with my girlfriend whom I will be getting married to on August 7.  We have been together for over five years now and things continue to go great.   You can visit her website by clicking
here!  I'm really happy to have her in my life and can't say enough good things about her.
