Mattie: Absolutely amazing, of course! We do pop with a punk influence, and we do it great!
Who came up with the name and what does it mean?
Charlie: Geri Halliwell came up with it. We were originally called Buster, and Mattie's friend called up an MTV request show to give us a shout out.
James: To cut a long story short, Geri was presenting the show and she misheard and called us Busted.
Charlie: We liked that better, so thanks Geri!
Do you consider yourselves a boy band?
Mattie: We don't consider ourselves to be a boy band, but we are what we are, We're just boys in a band!
James: We play instruments and we write our own songs.
Charlie: People can call us what they like as long as they like our music.
Do you behave more like a pop band or a rock band?
Mattie: I'd say we behave more like a rock band. We did trash a hotel room once...but it was an accident.
James: Yeah, we were wrestling on a bed and it broke!
So how far would you go to be famous?
Charlie: Fame isn't why we're in a band. We want to be sucessful because we want our music to reach as many people as possible. Fame is just part of the package.
Are you competitive with each other?
Mattie: James is the most competitive person in the world!
Charlie: If we say we're going to do something and there's going to be a winner, James completely changes. He just has to win!
James: It's true, I can't help it!
Cahrlie: Matt and I are pretty good team players.
James: So am I.
Mattie: You play for your own team, mate!
Have any of you got girlfriends?
James: We did have, but we haven't got time for any of that at the moment. It sounds crap, but it's the truth.
What's it like having hordes of girls lusting after you?
Mattie: When it happens we'll be thankful for it!
Charlie: I was buying a new mobile phone the other day and some girls followed me into the shop and were just standing behind me going, "He's in that band!" It was weird, but I could definately get used to it!
If a fan wants to get your attention, what's the best thing she could do?
Charlie: Lift her top up!
What gold medal would you win in the Olympics if you could make one up?
Mattie: Best kisser!
James: Mine would be for being a film freak.
Charlie: I'd win the coolest guy in town medal!
