Materials and Methods Studied

· Wood - table saw, band saw, planer, jointer, lathe, router, hand tools, etc.
· Metal - machining (vertical mill, lathe), forging, casting (bronze, aluminum), welding (oxy-acetylene, MIG, TIG, arc), plasma cutting, chasing, patinas, hand tooling.
· Molding and Casting - polyurethane rubbers, silicone, resin, latex rubber, plastics, wax, ceramic shell, piece molds, waste molds.
· PNC-3000 - Setup a PNC-3000 CNC milling machine in the Industrial Design Department of the University of the Arts.

Computer Skills

· Programming - Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Foundation Classes, OpenGL, DirectX, raytracing and image processing algorithms, genetic and neural network algorithms, physics simulations, basic, assembly.
· CAD and 3D Animation - Maya NT, 3D Studio Max, Rhinoceros.
· Interactive Design and Presentation - Director, Dreamweaver, Premier.
