Predestination: God's Sovereign Choice to Save

Man is totally depraved--unwilling to believe apart from God's sovereign, effectual grace.
John 6:44; 8:47
Romans 3:9-18; 8:7-8
1 Corinthians 2:14
Ephesians 2:1-3
John 3:19-20

God can bring to faith whomever He pleases; unbelief does not hold God hostage and overthrow His sovereign choice to save a person. His saving grace is always effective when He desires it to be, yet it does not force a person to come to Christ, but causes him to come willingly.

Romans 8:30
Job 42:2
John 5:21; 6:37-40, 44, 55, 64-65; 18:37
