This will be my second year playing in the marathon, last year I shot a 454 in approximately 11.5 hours.
There are two ways to donate:
1. Donate a flat dollar amount. In this case, make out a check payable to Alpine Children's Charity and send the check to me by July 31. (701 Kenilworth Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137)
2. Donate on a per hole basis. The pay will depend on what I score during the golf marathon. The better I do, the more you pay - i.e., $3 per birdie, $1.75 per par, etc. I have developed categories for you to choose from. See this SPREADSHEET for details. Just tell me if you want to be in the Standard Performance Donation, Triple Performance Donation, etc.
The way I see it, if electing the performance donation, you will end up donating pretty close to the target. Unless I completely bomb, or I play out of my mind, I figure I will be within $15 either way of the target.
Note - you do not have to pick from one of the categories, if you want to donate using this style, we can design a plan to fit whatever you may dream up - $ per GIR, $ per one-putts, whatever you want!
Also, if you want to change any of the categories, meaning take off the hole-in-one option, etc., we can work it out.
