EDITORIAL Hello, and welcome to the latest issue of The Mutt's Nuts! This edition has taken what seems like a life time to produce. The reason for this is simple. The powers that be like to cluster deadlines together. Everyone has a whole bunch o’ essays due in around this time of year, not to mention dissertation’s. Chaos rules supreme and minor details such as finding ‘funny’ captions for the photographs in this mag get pushed to one side. It is not all doom and gloom however! The weather has been great lately; the amount of sunshine we have been enjoying is on a level never before seen in Bristol. And it will be the Easter break soon (although that will probably be dedicated to getting the May essays ready!) This may very well be my last issue. I am now in my twilight months at St. Matts. The dosh has all been squandered and my brain is more clapped out than a twenty two year old Ford Cortina. Fear not though! Emma Phillips, our fantastic news editor, will be taking over in the Autumn. I’m sure that under her dynamic leadership, the magazine will excel. Before I sign off, I would like to say thank you to a few people; just like an Oscar acceptance speech really! Most of all, I would like to thank all of those who have contributed towards The Mutt's Nuts during the past year, especially Richard Simmons and Emma Phillips who have both been incredibly dedicated. I would also like to say thank you to Julia Sumner for putting up with our constant invasions of the S.U office! I guess thats it then. And as they used to say on The Sooty Show, “Bye bye everybody, bye bye”... - Rob Lordan, Editor |
