Jewish Learning
Each JCSC Fellow is required to participate in at least one hour of Jewish learning a week.  The best resources in Madison to fullfill this requirement are as follows:

Our very own Rabbi Andrea Lerner.  She teacher various types of learning sessions throughout the week, from "the meaning of life," to speaking Hebrew.  Second semester this year she also taught a weekly session specifically for staff. I believe she is planning on facilitating this class again next year.

Another resource to utilize is the knowledgable people in the Madison Jewish community.  This includes the many teachers at the Conservative, Reform or Reconstructionist synagogues as well as the Chabad Rabbi.

Lastly, there are numerous Jewish-related classes available through the university.  Most professors will allow you to sit in on their class.
