Hamagshimim oversaw three programs by itself. They were the Yitzhak Rabin memorial service, Caravan for Democracy and the upkeep of the Israel current events board. All went well.
Hamagshimim also co-sponsored many successful events. They co-sponsored the “Promises” screening, the Israel Fair, an Israeli cultural night (with the Israel Dance group) and a Yom Hazikaron memorial service. These also went very well.
This year we had funding from the national Hamagshimim office that helped us to fund many of the programs Hamagshimim was a part of. Unfortunately, Hamagshimim will not have any money available next year to provide funding. In addition, we are restructuring a couple of our groups, and Hamagshimim is one of the groups that will experience some changes next year. Hamagshimim will not exist as an independent entity next year.
