Supervision
	I am directly supervised by Jamie Berman, Assistant Director.  I am indirectly supervised by Greg Steinberger, Director.  Jamie and I have a chance to meet once a week.  Each meeting gives us a time to evaluate anything I was responsible for since the last time we met.  We also review the major events on the calendar through the end of the smester. In addition, Jamie's door is always open for me to check in with her throughout the week regarding ideas, concerns, problems and success we have throughout the week.  Jamie is a wonderful resource and provides valuable feedback.   In addition, to my weekly meetings with Jamie, the entire staff has a weekly meeting.  In this meeting, Jamie as well as Greg, have the opportunity to review everything currently pertaining to us at Hillel.  It is the best way for our staff to stay on the same page, regarding the Jewish student community.  We discuss events, visitors and current issues within the campus community or the citywide community and we are able to touch base and share ideas and feedback. Some advice about supervision.  Utilize everyone's knowledge in the office. With this staff there is a lot of experience.  Find out what was effective and what was ineffective in the past with each target student group.  Don't be afraid to ask questions, especially about target students that fall into a category with which you have no experience.
