| Mommy & Daddy are Having a Baby! |
| The day they heard the news - September 28, 2001 Mommy went to the doctor because she was having very bad cramps & she found out about me! Then she drove to VMFAT-101 where my daddy worked and told him. The first person she told was her best friend Stacy Shearer, and daddy's best friend Ellis Brittin. Mommy and Daddy also found out that day that my great-grandpop had died. It was a sad day, but a friend said it best when she said "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away." I know that my great-grandpop is watching over me, he is my guardian angel along with my other great-grandparents. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mommy's first doctors appointment was on October 5, 2000 at Balboa Naval Hospital. The office was located in Building 3, Deck 1....and was a place mommy would visit alot while she was waiting on me! Mommy's Pregnancy She gained 4 lbs by the end of the 1st month She lost 3 lbs by the end of the 2nd month. She gained 0 lbs by the end of the 3rd month. She gained 4lbs by the end of the 4th month. She gained 5 lbs by the end of the 5th month. She gained 5 lbs by the end of the 6th month. She gained 8lbs by the end of the the 7th month. She gained 2 lbs by the end of the 8th month. She gained 6 lbs (166lbs) by the end of the 9th month. She craved: Roast beef sandwiches, grilled cheese and chocolate milk, pudding, pineapple, red peppers, cheese, sprite. During this time she visited lots of doctors. They told her my due date was May 30, 2001. Mommy visited the doctors on November 16 and heard my heartbeat for the first time. My daddy heard it at the next appointment. Mommy and Daddy had a sonogram done on January 17th and the technician said "It's a GIRL!"
