Frost Minotaur

This subspecies of the Minotaur race is a smaller and less formidable group. They hail from frozen lands, and so do have even greater senses. There's an unusual curiosity of new things about them, so they are much more likely to become adventurers than other savage humanoid races.

- Personality: These Minotaur are very curious yet very cautious. They like to explore new things and keep an open mind as to whether it is good or bad. They still have the chaotic and somewhat evil tendencies of other Minotaur, but rarely show it until they've examined the situation. They're also fiercely territorial and will defend their lands to their death if it should come to that, which rarely happens.

- Physical Description: Frost Minotaur look exactly like their larger cousins, except for some minor differences. Their fur is white, though some develop a light gray or off-white coloring. Their eyes are usually a gem-like color. They stand just over 7 ft. tall and weigh between 300 and 500 pounds. The horns of the males are more curved and are a light gray, while the females have the straight horns, only a little smaller. As with Orcs, scars are revered as a thing of beauty. Very rarely will a Frost Minotaur be seen who doesn't have many scars, and never a tribal leader. The life span of Frost Minotaur is about 100 to 120 years.

- Relations: As a whole, they are too isolated to like or dislike any race. Those who disturb Frost Minotaur lands leave a general distaste for the race, but not a total hatred. Those who leave their homelands develop their own trusts and mistrusts.

- Alignment: These Minotaur delight in being organized. They have some of the most functioning governments of all the savage humanoids. Because of their isolation, they tend to be neutral.

- Frost Minotaur Lands: The dwellings of these beasts can be found mostly in the frozen northlands and the deep south, hi these regions, the Minotaur will find or build caves in the ice as well as vast labyrinths underground. Occasionally they will have some huts or forts above ground outside the caves.

- Religion: These creatures are survivalists with little care for religion. Various tribes may worship their own deities, but most have no religion as a tribe. A traveler will most likely find a religion, but it varies by personal preference.

- Language: Frost Minotaur speak Giant, as well as their own tongue, Glacion, which uses its own alphabet.

- Names: A name is sacred to the Frost Minotaur. It is given by the tribe and usually is like Native American names: a combination of two or more words. Translated examples may include Swifthunter, Charging-Bull, and Quietdeath.

- Adventurers: The adventuring spirit flows through a Frost Minotaur as naturally as their own blood. Though the family is a cherished value, the prospect of adventure can seldom be ignored. Frost Minotaur Racial Traits
