Gigantos

This race is based off of the race from the Playstation 2 game The Final Fantasy X. The Guado are a very unsociable race. Their odd appearance and religious zealotry keep them in an unwanted state by most of the common races. Though as a whole the Guado race is unpleasant, many individuals are quite popular.

- Personality: The Guado are a highly religious and very temperamental race. They have no respect for those who do not revere Yevon as the supreme deity they believe him to be. Their nonchalant attitude is a cover for the hatred they possess inside. It is not wise to cross a Guado.

- Physical Description: The Guado are fairly normal looking humanoids, with a few exceptions. They have wild hair styles, faces that make them look as if they are much older than they really are, and large hands that make it difficult to use normal tools and weaponry. Guado are as tall as Humans, but weigh a little less. Their hair is often a shade of blue, though rarely a Guado may develop hair of a different color.

- Relations: As aforementioned, the Guado do not see eye to eye with anybody, unless they worship Yevon. The Guado do try to get by with associating with other races, if it is a necessity for them to do so.

- Alignment: The Guado are not Good, but you really can't refer to them as Evil either. Normally they are Chaotic Neutral, like Yevon. They may be of any alignment, though Evil is more common than Good is, and Chaos more common than Law is.

- Guado Lands: Guado can be found living anywhere. They can be in the big cities, small towns, or sometimes in their own sanctuaries. The Guado are accepted in society as long as they don't cause trouble. If a Guado is the leader of aland, it is either because all inhabitants are Guado or because the Guado have taken the land.

- Religion: Yevon is the chief (only) deity of the Guado, and creator of the Guado race. The Guado don't tolerate those who they consider infidels. These infidels are those who won't accept Yevon as the supreme deity. Often a holy war will be declared on beings that publicly denounce Yevon. These holy wars have been, in the past, against a rogue tribe of Guado. If a Guado is found worshipping a deity before Yevon, s/he is often executed within 24 hours, unless s/he's a traveler or is with a rogue tribe.

- Language: Guado speak their own language. They also speak the Common tongue so as not to be totally set apart from the rest of the world. If they learn other languages, they're often obscure languages.

- Names: Guado names are given in religious ceremonies by the chief Cleric. These names are said to be divinely inspired by Yevon himself. They are only given Guado names, never names associated with another race.

- Adventurers: Guado rarely venture for themselves. Normally a Guado will become an adventurer to cany out some orders from the Cleric. Guado from rouge or 'splinter' tribes are more likely to adventure for their own ambitions.
