Crimson Decree
Pressure built, churning within
too long held in crumbling walls
final tempest of wrath is spent
quaking ground, memories recalled

Without warning, explosion of self
cleansing of the inner me
spewing forth rage and desire
heaven burns, my crimson decree

Serene face obscene, it's shroud eroded
ripped away by destruction inside
exposing the decay therein hidden
tortured sanity, cynical mind

Buried emotions, now finally free
loosed upon unsuspecting skies
watch me gather like a hurricane
acidic rain, my weeping eyes

Final chapter, an ending of dreams
'tis here that I've lost my soul
destroyed forever the innocence
sea boils hot, life's embers behold
