I lie alone, adrift one solitary soul in an ocean of peace. The silence surrounds me like a warm blanket of priceless serenity. I nestle deep within it like a child seeking comfort in mother's arms. The security I feel soothes my troubled mind expanding rigid boundaries. I burrow deeper finaly relaxing my tenuous hold on sanity. Cradled in this womb of peaceful tranquility I begin to heal. As a serene sense of calm pervades my soul a slow rebirth begins. I revel in this rare instant of cherished harmony to dream undisturbed. For just a moment one solitary soul is at peace with itself. |
