Rainbows in the Night
At night I fly
with carefree wings
across a starry sky

The diamonds bright
do play around
the twinkley northern lights

A happy smile
will light my face
for rainbows runny wild

And comet's tails
leaving behind
their multi-colored trails

A whistled tune
upon the lips
of that face on the moon

Sings a song
of peacefulness
to build my dreams upon

As I do drift
on sleepy thoughts
to dream of love's great gift

I feel your breath
so softly stir
the hairs upon my neck

And while the sky
plays pretty games
in contentedness I sigh

For in your arms
all through the night
you keep me safe from harm
