Sweet Serenity

Seeking but a moment
of sweet serenity
one precious moment
of soft calming peace

Waiting upon an instant
of quiet solitude
one precious instant
would change my inner mood

And that is what I seek
when you hold me close
'tis that once preicous moment
that I treasure the most

And in that single moment
lies the instant I did seek
therein is where I find
my sweet serenity
