Hurt

They say love knows no boundries.

It is true love also has no gender, no race, no religion -- it transcends all.

I spend endles hours thinking of you -- wanting to hold you in my arms once more.

To look deep into your eyes and see your soul.

To feel your breath after kissing you.

And it's like a thousand knives jabbing into my heart knowing that I can't be with you.

I will always treasure those few moments when I was yours -- when it seemes like we shared an eternity in an embace.

With each passing day my heart grows heavier with thoughts of you.

Yet, when I see a smile on your face, or hear a cheery tone in your voice I have hope.

Maybe somewhere deep down you feel the same way.

Ifeel as through those few moments we had together where some of the most special times of my life.

I know that you will always have a place in my heart now and always.

Comment: This poem brings back many memories of well obviously a lost love. Life is cruel sometimes. But in the end I think it worked out for the better.
