Got it?

Previously on Angel: Just, you know, complicated lives.

Currently on Angel: Cordy convinces Connor to keep the baby secret. Dark Cordy tries to win over Angelus but just pisses him off enough so that he goes to the Hyperion and steals all their research. Eventually, though, Dark Cordy just threatens Angelus with a resoul and he becomes a meek puppy. Gunn and Fred finally actually talk and sort of almost make up but don't. But as we're all just watching this for Faith...

Wesley takes Faith to his place to clean up and she punches the crap out of his shower. They head over to the hotel where they run into Angelus leaving. Angelus grabs Wesley and Faith hesitates to attack. Gunn arrives and Angelus escapes. Faith and Wesley go after him and Wesley asks if Faith is going to let Angelus go again. They hit the bars and Wesley tortures some junky to get a lead on Angelus. They find him in some kind of dark, gothic dark place with lots of scaffold and darkness. I cannot emphasis the darkness enough. It's dark. Anyway. Faith and Angelus fight with Angelus taunting and baiting Faith who only seems to be on her game when she loses her temper. She beats him down but stops because, damnit, she has changed. This, of course, allows Angelus to get the upper hand and take her down. Angelus vamps out, grabs Faith and...

Fade to black.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

Title game: Angelus mentions "consequences" to Faith, which is the title of the season three episode where she went totally over to the dark side.

Comic game: Faith called Wesley "boy hostage", the usual nickname for Robin.

I'm really tired of "fast-forward" pregnancies and childhoods. Really, I'd rather just go back to MacMillan and Wife method where Wife would get pregnant and they'd all just ignore it. Much simpler. And, really, involves less suspension of disbelief.

Total number of people Angelus has killed since 'escaping' from the Hyperion: Zero. This guy has them worried? What a wuss. He's killed two vampires and a couple of demons.

Singular lack of Faith quotes as she was very... quiet this episode. Very internal.

Connor playing in the mirror was very similar to Faith-in-Buffy's body playing with the mirror.

Scaffold fight. Of course.

RANDOM QUOTES

Wesley: "Faith. Are you alright?"
Faith: [monotone]"I'm all sticky."

Angelus: "Hey, you're preaching to the guy who ate the choir."

Angelus: "I know how it feels. Forced to be someone you're not. Hurts to the bone. Try to bury the pain but you can't get the hole deep enough, can you? No matter how much you dig it's still there. Broken shards stabbing every time you breath. Cutting you up inside. You know there's only one way to make the pain stop. Hurt someone else."

Angelus: "You're an animal. Just like me."
Faith: "No! You're wrong. I'm different now. I'm not like you."
Angelus: "You will be."
