The Song Remains the Same: The Week in Music - 10.02.03

Before we get to music I just heard the sad news that pro wrestler Curt "Mr. Perfect" Hennig was found dead today.  Hennig was one of my favorites back when I was a kid and my best wishes go out to his family and friends.

Also I would like to make it known right now that I am against the pending war with Iraq, or as I like to call it "Operation Esso". Anybody who doesn't think this war is about oil is so fucking brainwashed that they might as well just bend over and take it from the government right now, cause they are just another whore at the capitalist gang-bang. George W. has oil running through his veins; "Damn it Cheney, I got me another nose bleed, better invade Iraq. Daddy said its nice in Kuwait this time of year."

Now onto the news:

The Michael Jackson Documentary

You know its a slow news week when this is the main news item.  More people watched this special than Joe Millionaire.  Western culture is seriously fucked up. I didnt watch it. If I want to see a freak show I'll go to the circus. The aftermath however, was on the idiot box more than Budweiser commercials, and that's saying a lot.  Jacko is now claiming that the documentary was inaccurate, which is understandable cause hey, documentaries are wrought with inaccuracies. Maybe Sony played a part in fucking with Jacko. Who knows?

The Crazy Love Life of Britney Spears

All I've heard this week is Britney is with Fred Durst, no she's with Colin Farrell, no she's back with Justin. Nobody cares. If you want to know who Britney has been seeing then just check out the new Britney ward of the Hollywood STD clinic.

Well that's really all I have to comment on this week, the Grammys are coming up so I am sure I will have plenty to say about that disaster.
