"Kat" is the cuddle bun of Mavmon Collies. Originally named Katie, but had to be re christened with the abbeviated name of Kat as I found it clashed dreadfully with the name Casey. Poor old Casey spent the day wondering what the devil she had done wrong because everytime I said "Katie NO" (when she was doing something like .... digging up the Geraniums, LOL) Casey thought she was in trouble. Whereas Katie just kept on bubbling along (as she does so well !!!) So a new name emerged "KAT" which pleased Casey no end :-)) "Kat" very early on decided that the show scene was definately not her favourite passtime. After just 2 attempts I gave in and agreed to "Kat" staying at home and just enjoy being the Kennel Clown and my "sweet pea". At home Kat is a very bubbly, alert and sweet Collie. She craves attention and is a gentle lady. Kat has a beautiful outline, superb head, excellent & natural ear set, a kind sweet eye and overall is an attractive and well put together young girl. Kat gave birth to 7 gorgeous babies in 2006. I will be campaigning some of them in the showring & look forward to some exciting times ahead. Although I am disappointed that the show scene is not Kat's priority I understand that some Collies just prefer to stay at home & do what they do best .... "LOVE IS ~ KNOWING A COLLIE" |
