I have experience in the following computer fields: , Various CAD Software packages such as: EDS Unigraphics rev. 9/15/16/18/NX, AutoDesk’s AutoCAD rev. 2.0 - 2002, fully certified in Intergraph’s EMS, Bentley’s Microstation 4.0/5.0/95/SE, Intergraph’s I/Mill (2.5 Axis), Mastercam (5 Axis) and Engravelab-Pro (2.5 Axis). Also various other manual and automatic CAM Nesting packages, PC Hardware Systems Administration and some Robotics / Automation..

Experienced in product / mold design with ‘hands on’ experience in handling exotic composites, such as Carbon Fiber, Kevlar-Aramids, and CF-Kevlar Hybrids. Manutactured parts using Vinyl Esters / MEKP and Epoxies Resins. Knowledge of plug / mold creation using milling foams and Duratec materials. Have designed and built products using Aircraft Grade Aluminum and Chrom-Moli steel. Also have Acetylene and TIG Welding experience.

As part of the FMC tractor group, I demonstrated Mechanical Design knowledge skilled with GD&T as it applies to steel assemblies and weldments. Also very comfortable with Electrical and Hydraulic systems.

Present responsibilities include providing both
CAD Design, Support & actual design of quite a few mechanical systems within operational parameters using IMAN 8.0/ UG NX. Preparing Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic assemblies and packaging layouts for production drawings from verbal or written instructions on complex products from our Senior Engineer. Provide assembly line technical assistance when problems occur or when new products are released into production.

Working primarily in the Tractor group, and involved in several of the design tasks for the PTS-1R, 3R and 3R Plus, B400/B450, B600, B1200 conventional tow bar tractor models, Expediter 160 towbarless tractors, Expediter 300 also responsible for the production drafting work for these machines . Lead for several drafters and designers as a Senior Designer role. Responsible for a large part of the Tractor Group’s Test Trailer design work. While requiring minimal supervision I worked along-side manufacturing personnel to provide both technical assistance and to inspire the personnel to complete the project with High Quality, On Schedule, and On Budget.

Because of my ability to communicate fluently in Spanish, I am one of the points of contact between Spain Engineering, Mexico Engineering and Orlando/US Engineering for our airport products.

Strato Systems Corporation
Responsibilities: Owner and Designer of the AIRDOO ultralight aircraft

The AIRDOO is the first all composite ultralight aircraft. The prototype aircraft was constructed using my conceptual designs and renderings. Bentley CAD products were used to accomplish this project. The Plugs were milled using five axis milling ready files.

Hands on experience in product / mold design and hands on handling of composites, such as Carbon Fiber, Kevlar-Aramid, and CF-Kevlar Hybrids. Also made parts using Vinyl Ester / MEKP Resins. Responsible for plug / mold creation on quarter scale and full scale CF and Kevlar composite prototype pieces, by using milling foams and Duratec materials. See Sample Pictures below.

Performed overall 98/NT platform PC Systems Administration throughout the company, and provided all CAD generated Illustrations as well as acted as the Internet Webmaster for my business.

The NauticAir 400/450 is the first amphibious all composite business Jet aircraft ever made. Provided Roy & Jim LoPresti of LoPresti Speed Merchants with Engineering Support and calculations.

As one of three Senior CAD designers in the Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic systems development of the NauticAir 400/450 from the original CADKEY files and sketches through CAD rendered Illustrations and Technical Manuals using Microstation SE, and some Pro/E.

Responsible for plug / mold creation on quarter scale prototype, using milling foams and Duratec materials.

My responsibilities also included generating a Business Plan for a fund raising campaign and for a display at the NBAA show in Las Vegas, NV.

Work Experience Merritt Island Facility Systems Administration & Plant CAD Supervisor
09/07/91- 08/11/98
Sea Ray Boats, Inc
One of the three people involved in the integration of CAD systems throughout the company and proving its efficiency capabilities over older methods to upper management.

Also responsible for PC software and hardware solutions for the Merritt Island facility, Merritt Island, Florida. This included: Win 98/NT LAN for the Engineering Department, NT Network and Systems Administration on CAD/CAM Workstations.

Training and experience being a plant CAD supervisor as well as senior CAD operator with full mechanical certification to use Intergraph’s EMS, Unigraphics Mechanical Package, and gained some Pro/E rel. 20 experience (Mostly Installation, file management and file data conversions). Heavy experience on Microstation 4.0/95/SE, Solid Edge, and other Bentley products, AutoDesk products on Intergraph’s TD/NT and SGI/NT Indy Workstations for the creation of Hydrodynamic, Electrical, Hydraulic systems 2D and 3D Models, Electro-mechanical schematics

An Additional responsibity for the facility’s ISO Production Manuals and ECR generation, tracking and updates for ISO Plant Certification. This was the first Marine facility in the USA to obtain ISO Certification.

Experience in CAM Data Manual Nesting and Auto-Nesting for Production Automated 2.5 Axis Milling Routers (Mastercam, Engravelab Pro and other auto-nesting custom software packages ), as well as PC support for 95 other PCs throughout the facility.

As the Product Data Management (PDM) Software Manager I represented our facility to the parent corporation Brunswick Corp. Was also deeply involved in the study, research and final proposal for the integration of both Unigraphics CAD/CAM Solutions and Matrix One PDM products into the corporation.

Responsible for
Electro-mechanical CAD Schematics and creation of Technical Manuals. Also created Animations and CAD rendered Illustrations for Sales Department. I was also responsible for CAD accuracy of the CAD team using AutoCAD and for maintaining Data Security in the Corporate Server.

Had LAN/WAN responsibilities for the manufacturing house. Also involved in the “hands on” Electro-mechanical design and production for the company

Responsible for the preparation of Robotic Units for shows and demonstrations.

The company bid, engineered and planned such things as county schools, malls and general buildings for Dade and Broward counties.

Responsibilities included CAD accuracy for structural blueprints using AutoCAD and other AutoDesk products.

I was also responsible for verifying data accuracy before blueprints were printed and sent to other firms. Coordinated on a daily basis with the other engineering and architectural firms to develop the CAD files and blueprints for the massive projects.

I was also responsible for our in-house PC systems administration and hardware maintenance as well.
