My name is Bob  and I live on Cole Street in Beautiful Maxwell Park. I  am a refugee from  San Francisco where I had lived  since 1978.

I bought my home in April 1999 and have not looked back across the bay since. Oakland is a wondeful city and we  truly love living here in general and  Maxwell Park in particular.  It is one of the most friendly places I have ever lived. One of the first things that struck me about Maxwell Park was how friendly the people are. When I first walked the neighborhood, I was amazed that everybody with whom I came in contact on the street said "hi". I have been welcomed by my neighbors  and have been delighted to find how active they  are in the community affairs.  They are very special people and am greatful to them for the way they have welcomed us into their community.

I have worked  for a large (really really large) computer company since 1992. I am currently a network MIS technician at a costomer location. I enjoy working with computers and I am the "computer friend" that most of the people I know call when they have a question or problem with their computer.
