Troy Knight decides to give it one last shot... The MWF CEO Edward Walker confirmed the main event for 'One Last Time' tonight after tense negotiations with former MWF World Heavyweight Champion, Troy Knight. The star was set to walk away from the chance to appear on 'One Last Time' citing personal difficulties, but after a six-hour meeting with the MWF CEO he was persuaded otherwise. Walker confirmed the match would be a special four falls match, with the first wrestler to four falls being confirmed the winner, and Troy Knight will be out to prove he's the star of the show. However, he faces stiff competition from Insane Wayne, Wildfire and Sean Harley in what should be a main event to remember.12/01/06
Insane Wayne gets a match, and it might be more than he bargained for! Insane Wayne is confirmed to appear at 'One Last Time', and he will find himself stepping in the ring with the MWF CEO Edward Walker. Against medical advice, Walker has decided to go toe to toe with the man who he has enjoyed both good times and bad times. The 'Who's the Boss?' match should settle the score between the two old rivals once and for all. There has also been a late addition to the card, with Apache returning to make the opening match a fatal five-way match. The main event for 'One Last Time' is expected to be announced tomorrow.10/01/06
Tag Team Chaos is go! Four tag-teams will battle it out at 'One Last Time', and the quality could not be any higher. Former MWF Tag Team Champions, "Kronik", will be the major players in the match as they look to confirm that they are the best tag team the MWF has ever seen. They are up against old hands, "The Master Plan", with Tempest and The Hobo coming together for one last show at glory. Sean Harley and Scotty Heart will also set apart their differences to join back together as a tag team, just how they entered the MWF over two years ago. The final team will be the crazy and dysfunctional pairing of Kid Insanity and Nova. These two men never saw eye to eye, but they were certain up there for entertainment. The only man now left without a match at 'One Last Time', is Insane Wayne, will the former President and General Manager be left out in the cold?08/01/06

First three matches announced... The first three matches of 'One Last Time' have been announced, one is an opener that showcases some of the top talent from the Maximum Wrestling Federation just before it went under in April 2005. A clash between Steven Douglas and Wildfire looks set to be an early evening highlight, two men who never hit the MWF World Heavyweight Championship but developed huge fanbases and won pretty much everything else, including respect. The third match is one to send a shiver down any hardcore MWF fans' neck, Gutter Rat will step into the ring...well, maybe not the ring, but along with NomaD and Seth Caliko, three of the most Xtreme men in the MWF will battle it out anywhere around the arena. More matches are expected to be announced over the next week. 27/12/05
Will he, won't he? Troy Knight has released an official statement, stating the following: "I would like to apologise to all the MWF fans, but I am afraid due to unforseen circumstances - Troy Knight will not be at 'One Last Time'. I wish that I could be, but there is no chance I can step inside the ring that I helped make one last time." The MWF CEO, Edward Walker, has issued a statement declaring that Troy Knight would be welcome to come to the event, even if not wrestling, but urged Troy to reconsider his decision. After talks with MWF CEO Edward Walker, he decided to put aside any differences he had with the wrestling world and step back in the ring. NomaD was one of the stars during what many see as the peak period of the MWF, and was a vital part of Walker's plans during that time. NomaD is said to have been swayed back by the confirmation that Seth Caliko and Kid Insanity would be appearing at 'One Last Time'. 22/12/05
