Many people like to call these "adoptions" but I prefer to call them "special gatherings".
I wondered about why I felt this way and the only thing I can come up with is that some people seem to grab things from all over the net and place them on their pages almost for the sake of it, rather than thinking about why they have chosen them and valuing them.
Maybe this is because I am an adoptee, that the thought of grabbing things as trinkets just because you want them rather than really valuing them makes me uncomfortable somehow.
Up until now you thought I was sane didn't you? *smile*
