Back to the days where I saw you
Sitting on that rounded timber
With eyes wide open, and cheeks so blushed
Your eyes say something
Your lips I dare not touch

Back to the days I stare at that bright flashy grin
As the flamboyant light besieged those skinny, impassive lips
Your eyes looked at me,
Your voice reached my spirit, saying nothing
I dare not ask

You say hello and thank you
You say it so
You asked who I am
Now that you know
I dare not goad

Now I’m back and stole a look
So what is it now?
You see me hitched with this shindig
Evolved in this fantasy
You see me praising your sanctuary
I dare not deny
I dare not try
To prevail this understanding
Win your smile
Win your presence and fervor

Is this vanity?
I dare not know
Is this love?
I dare not discover
Is this a habit?
A forlorn habit I never want to break

You asked me why
Don’t ask me why
I will not try to end this conversation
With you I feel elation
Blissfulness I never want to retire

You asked me why
I’ll tell you now
You are the sun that prompts in my dreams
The eclipse that revolves around me
The fun that twinkles my sanity
Dances above and beneath
The system I will reveal

The birds start to gaze, in my desolation
I’m not amazed
I’m not in for this sense
‘coz you are the star of my tale
the love of my myth
the gift of paradox
I dare not end

You told me you had to set off
To chase on that moonlit haven
You asked me why there’s a tear in my eye
This you told me so
See me in my dreams,
watch me when you’re awake
Are you listening to my soul?
I dare not hear, I dare not know…
