Summary: Spike can't take care of Druscilla all by himself, so he gets himself a slave to help.  Spike and Eve bond.  Druscilla and Eve bond.  Angelus exfoliates.

Spike studied Eve while she slept, wrapped in only her towel, on the stone floor of the guest room Angelus had given her.  Spike ran a quiet fingertip over the shiny skin, twisting and pink, on Eve's cheek.  He let his finger skip down her neck, where the scar broke, before reaching her shoulder and arm, damaged worse than her face.

He glanced up and saw she was awake, watching him.

Eve grinned ruefully.  "Hey-- at least with all these nasty scars, I don't have to worry about anybody... forcing me... anymore."

Spike's returning smile was sad.  "Brought you something," he said, pushing a white box wrapped in blue ribbon at her.  "Kind of a get well gift.  Even though you're already well."

Eve sat up, blinking in surprise.  "How'd you get it?"  She asked, taking the box carefully.  She ran her hands over the satin ribbon, awed.

"It's just a new set of clothes."  Spike shifted uncomfortably, embarrassed.  He was sitting on the floor next to Eve, his wheelchair abandoned in the corner of the room.

She pulled the ribbon, careful not to break it.  Inside the box was a pair of blue jeans, a plain black shirt with long sleeves and a low collar, a black bra, and a pair of black cotton panties.

Spike watched Eve's face light up as she removed each item.  "Well go on."  He waved his hand at her and she stood up, letting her towel fall.  Spike took a deep breath at the sight of the scars covering half her torso, but didn't say anything.

Eve put the underwear and bra on, then the jeans.  She beamed at the perfect fit of the pants; for the first time in years, she would have clothes that were meant for her.  Pulling on the shirt, Eve was stunned by the feel of the material against her skin, soothing and soft.  "Spike," she breathed, "thank you."

He shrugged.  "S'nothing."  He stood up and situated himself in the wheelchair.  At Eve's questioning glance, he asked, "What?  Been doing my exercises."

Eve nodded.  "When are you gonna tell them?"  She asked.

Spike sighed theatrically as, on cue, the sound of Druscilla's loud groans ricocheted of the cool walls of the mansion.  "When the time's right," he answered, wheeling away.

Eve looked down at her clothed body and smiled.

Eve stood out in the garden, enjoying the last moments of light before the sunset was over.

It had been a long week, filled with scrubbing years of dust out of the mansion's walls, hanging curtains over expansive picture windows, and setting up furniture in her masters' bedrooms.

She stretched as darkness settled, and Druscilla glided into the garden.

"Oh, Eve," Druscilla murmured, taking the slave's face in one hand and licking across the ropey scar on Eve's cheek.  "Our palace is so beautiful.  You've been a good little girl, and good girls get pressies."  The vampiress looked immensely pleased with herself as she dipped a hand into her robe.  Eve watched, half fearing that Dru was going to give her some human body part, and Eve would be expected to carry it around and cherish it.  Instead, Druscilla produced a Hershey's chocolate bar.  She waved it in front of Eve teasingly for a moment before letting the slave take it.

Eve turned the bar over in her hands, checking that it was still unopened.  She had been so busy lately that getting food was difficult.  But this...  "Oh, Druscilla."  Eve wasn't sure what she should say, but her stomach was churning in excitement, and she had to hold herself back from just hugging the vampiress.

Spike rolled into the garden, smiling at his women, glad to have this moment of reprieve from Angelus.

"Look, Spike," Druscilla said happily, "I gave Eve a gift too."  Druscilla bent down and whispered confidentially, "She likes it ever so much."

Spike smiled, leaning up to kiss his love, but she pulled away abruptly when Angelus sauntered through the curtains and into the garden.  The dark-haired vampire brushed against Spike absently as he circled Druscilla.

"Why so cheerful, love?"  Angelus asked, leaning in towards Druscilla, parting his lips.

The vampiress followed her sire's mouth with her eyes, but he stepped back, grinning maliciously at Spike.

"I made our girl a treat," Druscilla boasted, taking the chocolate bar from Eve's hand.  "See?"  She held it out for Angelus's inspection.

Spike watched dismay cross Eve's face when she lost her gift, and he turned to see what Angelus would do.

The elder vampire smirked at the chocolate.  "You like this, Evie?"  He asked condescendingly.

Eve nodded tightly.

Angelus nodded.  "Me too."

Eve watched, wide-eyed, as Angelus unwrapped the candy.  He took a large bite, and Eve slumped sadly.  She *knew* that he couldn't even taste the chocolate, and she was so hungry.

Seeing defeat cross Eve's face, Angelus spat his bite out.  "Disgusting," he pronounced.  His eyes met Eve's as he offered slyly, "I should probably just throw it out..."

Eve didn't move, didn't even flinch, but she was obviously straining to be still.

"No..."  Angelus grinned at her.  "That would be cruel, wouldn't it?"  He casually tossed the candy bar over his shoulder, his face breaking into a full grin when he heard the plop as the chocolate hit the water in the fountain.

Slowly unclenching her jaw, Eve managed to ask, "May I have it?"

Angelus nodded absently, waving her away and turning back to Druscilla.

In the kitchen, Eve sat on the counter, devouring the chocolate selfishly.  It tasted slightly metallic from the unfresh water in the fountain, but she really didn't care.

Spike wheeled jerkily into the room, watching as Eve shoved the last bit in her mouth.  "Look what I got," he said, waving a cell phone at the slave.  "Picked it up off some bloke with braces.  Prolly get turned off soon."  He leaned in conspiratorially.  "What shall we do with it?"

Eve frowned.  "You want me to...?"  She asked, confused.

"Oh, I should also mention-- the number of the local pizza delivery place is 555-6758, it was written up on their window display."  Spike shared Eve's smile as he handed the phone to her.  She had kept him fed for months, the least he could do was return the favor.

***

Eve let the delivery boy in, promising, "I've got your money just over here."

The boy, a pimply-faced teenager in a polyester uniform splattered with grease, put the pizza on the mantle and turned to follow Eve, but instead found himself face to face with a grotesque monster.

Eve ignored the slurping sounds as Spike ate.  She took the box and opened it, happily inhaling the pepperoni smell she remembered fondly.

She sat on the floor by the wheelchair, but Spike dropped the body next to her and she stood up again.  She knew she would have to dispose of the delivery boy later, but she didn't particularly feel the need to sit with him until then.

Spike slouched into his wheelchair with a satisfied grin on his face and followed Eve into the kitchen.

She hoisted herself onto the counter and munched happily on the steaming pizza.  Spike watched her eat.  Eve made her way quickly through the small pizza, but stopped to inhale deeply before taking the first bite of each slice.

"Guess humans aren't that different from vamps," Spike commented thoughtfully as Eve started in on the fourth slice.

"How do you mean?"  Eve asked, her mouth full.

"Look at you, sniffing your food..."  Spike waved at her, suddenly embarrassed.  "Just-- vampires aren't all 'bite, move on,' 'bite, move on.'  Sometimes we like to savor the meal.  My first kill in ages, while you were in the hospital, ahhh, now that was something."  He smiled reminiscently.

Eve suppressed a giggle.  "Yeah, yeah, we like smell.  We got taste and sight and hearing too.  All the five senses, just like vampires, only-- a little less acute."  She frowned, hand pausing on its way to deliver the next bite to her mouth.  "I think I missed one of them..."

Spike smirked.  "Feeling, luv."

"Oh."  Eve took a big bite of her pizza.  "Who needs that one?"

***

Eve hung her new clothes carefully over the curtain-rod in the shower.  She tucked her towel tightly around herself and walked back into her bedroom, bare except for a comforter and a sheet in one corner.  And tonight she had the addition of Spike, who was lounging in her makeshift bed.  Eve figured he must have come in some time while she was in the shower.

Spike was smoking and staring at the ceiling.  He didn't acknowledge Eve when she came over, but offered her the cigarette after she'd settled herself on the comforter next to him.

Eve was about to take it when she remembered the feeling of her throat burning against the smoke in the factory, her lungs heavy and pained while she was unable to get a clear breath of air.  "No thanks," Eve said.

"Tell me something," Spike commanded, still staring at the ceiling.

"Something?"  But Eve remembered this request from before.  Before... Angelus.  She closed her eyes and began.  "I... I used to cook when I visited Angel.  When- when we were friends."

Spike raised a brow at her choice of subject, but listened patiently.

"He bought me whatever I asked for, and I'd make these really complicated soups and entrees.  We just talked while I used his kitchen.  It was nice... I like to cook."

"Yeah."  Spike half expected to hear more of Druscilla's moans bouncing through the disturbingly echo-y halls, but there was silence outside Eve's door.  "You know I'm gonna see that potato-fuck dusted, right?  You're not gonna have a problem with that, are you?"  Spike knew that Angelus had visited Eve in the hospital frequently, and he had noticed that where the dark-haired vampire once beat and raped the slave, he now only mocked her and toyed with her.

Spike was already mentally reshuffling his plans to exclude Eve when she snorted indelicately.  "Yeah right.  I can see us being bestest buds someday in some future when he learns the error of his ways."  She turned to smirk at Spike, and he watched her, smiling too.

Their faces were so close, Eve couldn't stop herself.  She leaned in and kissed Spike needily.  His lips parted under hers, and her tongue swept into his mouth.  But Spike wasn't kissing back.

He pulled away sharply.  "Whoa, whoa, whoa," he said gently.  "What are you up to?"

Eve frowned.  "Up to?  You mean you've seen through my diabolical plan to seduce you?"  She tried to resume kissing Spike, but he pulled away again.

"Seduce me?  You know that's against the rules," he admonished her.

Eve rolled her eyes.  "You're not my master anymore, Spike, there are no rules."

Again he evaded a kiss as he pointed out, "Except for the one where Angelus doesn't share you with anyone."

Eve sighed.  "Yeah, I guess that's a rule.  But I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to be conspiring with you behind his back either."

"Luv-" Spike started to roll away, but Eve stopped him.

"Forget it."  Her voice dropped to a whisper as she pointed out, "I wouldn't want somebody as gnarled as me either."

"Eve-" Spike tried to meet her eyes, but she turned away, staring resolutely at the wall.  Eventually, he gave up.  He stood, studying her small body for a moment before turning to get back in his chair.

Before he reached the wheelchair, Druscilla slid into Eve's bedroom, tapping the door closed behind her.  "Dru."  Spike froze, caught and unsure what to do.

Eve turned to see her mistress.  The slave also went still, wondering what Druscilla was going to do.

The vampiress smiled, kissing Spike on the cheek.  "What wonderful games you play," she murmured into his ear, nipping the lobe indelicately with a fang.  She turned to Eve, proclaiming, "You are a very good girl.  Would you like another treat?"

Eve sat up slowly, watching Druscilla approach, her red skirts floating around tiny ankles.  Spike stood where he was, turning to watch Druscilla go to Eve.

At the edge of Eve's 'bed,' Druscilla dropped to her knees, crawling onto the comforter and over Eve.

The slave leaned back as Druscilla straddled her.  Eve's eyes were round with surprise, and Druscilla licked her teeth delightedly before swooping in.

Spike watched in absolute shock as Druscilla proceeded to kiss Eve deeply.  He saw two tongues playing between their lips as the kiss went on, and on, and on...

Luckily, he wasn't so distracted that he missed the soft sound of Angelus's approach.  Not thinking, Spike dove into his wheelchair.  He had just pulled forward to warn Druscilla when Eve's door opened and Angelus walked in.

The older vampire stared in shock at the erotic sight before him.  This was totally unexpected.

Druscilla's hands rested on the blankets, and Eve's arms were limp at her sides.  Only the women's lips touched, and their bosoms pressed accidentally together, but the visual was still stunning.  Eve's towel had dropped-- her burn scars faced away from him, but his name, branded along her side, was pink and clear, calling to Angelus. Druscilla's hair was pulled back in a bun, and he could see the feline ridges of her gameface.  These two beautiful, powerful women... were his.  Angelus grinned.

He could feel eyes on him and looked down to see Spike, who was watching his sire amusedly.  Angelus narrowed his eyes at Spike momentarily before calling, "Dru, share."

The women broke the kiss, turning to their mutual master.  Angelus was already undoing his belt, making his way across the room.  "Take a hike, Spike," he casually dismissed the other vampire.

Spike's nostrils flared, but he wheeled away, closing the bedroom door behind him.

***

"You might want to let up," Spike warned Angelus.  "They say when you've drawn blood, you've exfoliated."

Angelus snarled from his place at the fountain where he was frantically cleaning himself.  "What do you know about it?  I'm the one who was friggin' violated.  You didn't have this thing in you."

Spike rolled his eyes, ignoring Druscilla's exchange with Angelus.  Sunrise was in forty-five minutes, and then Angelus would sleep for at least a few hours.  Spike had a few words he wanted to share with Eve, and was restless to be rid of Angelus.

"I need a real vile kill before sun-up to wipe this crap out of my system," Angelus announced.

Druscilla rubbed against him animalisticly, promising, "Of course, we'll find you a nice toddler."

They started out of the garden, and Spike was just about to roll away when Druscilla turned to him and asked, "Want to come, pet?"

Spike clenched his jaw, trying to hold back his fear.  Naturally, Druscilla would let Angelus in on Spike's little secret.  Of all the...

"No can do, Dru."  Angelus said quickly, "I'm sure he'd be hell on wheels, but we don't have much time."

Spike felt his whole body relax; Angelus hadn't picked up on it.  Angelus still didn't know.

***

Spike walked back into the mansion as soon as Druscilla and Angelus were gone.  He went straight to Eve's room and woke her up.  "Eve," he said impatiently.

"I'm up.  Ugh, why am I up?"  She turned groggily to Spike.

He had seen the bruises earlier that day, but couldn't stop himself from commenting on them now.  "Guess you got what you wanted, then."

Eve closed her eyes tiredly, then opened them again.  "I wanted to have sex with you.  That was rape-- it wasn't sex."  True, it wasn't nearly as harsh as her other encounters with Angelus, mostly because Druscilla had gladly borne the worst treatment, but as long as Eve had no choice, as long as she had to look into the face of the man who had hurt her so badly before, as long as she had to forcefully hold back tears-- it counted as rape.  And that's the only way Angelus could ever have her.

Spike snorted in disbelief.  Druscilla had been walking around all morning afterwards emitting happy little whimpers.  But humans didn't have the same tastes as vampires-- he let the subject go.

"What do you want, Spike?"  Eve asked in exhausted irritation.

Spike thought of the thousand things he had wanted to yell at his last ally, but now he was just tired.  "A backrub, pet.  If that wouldn't be too much trouble?"

Eve was unsure of how to respond to that, but Spike had already positioned himself in front of her, so she set herself to the task.
